Join WaFd Bank’s dynamic and evolving Finance team as a Portfolio Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies for our $3 billion securities portfolio, aligning with risk-return objectives and portfolio guidelines. You will also support various capital markets activities across the bank's borrowing and lending portfolios.
As a key member of WaFd’s Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO), you will collaborate with the Finance team to create capital and balance sheet allocation strategies from a comprehensive risk perspective. Success in this role requires demonstrated expertise in capital markets activities, collaborative work, and a strong understanding of bank capital allocation.
The ideal candidate in addition to possessing strong analytical skills will also exhibit leadership capability to develop and engage junior team members. Along with the key functions listed below, this position will be expected to uphold the value that WaFd Bank places on simply being kind when servicing our co-workers and clients.
