The ATM & Cash Recycler Specialist is responsible for performing operational support duties of the ATM Admin Department. The specialist provides operational guidance and support for both ATMs and Cash Recyclers. This position acts as the department Cash Recycler Subject Matter Expert (SME), responding accurately and timely to both internal colleague and external vendor inquiries. An ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with vendor partners is essential, requiring strong written and verbal communication.
Daily responsibilities involve monitoring equipment status and currency usage, performing general ledger reconciliation, providing procedural guidance, and tracking service tickets to completion. Candidates must be able to multi-task and prioritize job duties, balancing department projects including the installation of and training on new equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Demonstrates superior customer service while assisting bank colleagues with questions related to ATMs and Cash Recyclers via phone or electronic communications. Follow up with colleagues and vendors efficiently and accurately.
• Monitors ATM and Cash Recycler operational status. Correspond with third-party vendors for routine or emergency maintenance.
• Conducts timely and accurate reconciliation of general ledger accounts. Research and provide corrections for out of balance conditions.
• Participates in the proposal process regarding the placement of new Cash Recyclers. Conduct associated duties to ensure a timely vendor response. Help coordinate the installation of and training on new Cash Recycler equipment.
• Ambition to learn and understand Cash Recycler software application to train and guide colleagues use.
• Reviews vendor invoices for accuracy and timely submission.
• Maintains essential records and reporting and cross-trains within department.
• Maintains a proficient knowledge of and adheres to all applicable banking rules and regulations.
• Assists in special projects and tasks for the department as directed.
• Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports the Bank’s goals and values.
• Avoid all real or perceived conflicts of interest and always maintain client privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and OFAC regulations.
• Perform other job duties as assigned
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Work related experience consisting of customer service and operational support in the financial services industry.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, Bank policies and procedures, and the Bank’s products and services.
• Basic experience, knowledge and training in ATM activities and terminology, products and services, and cash balancing.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general and technical specifications and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Intermediate typing skills to meet production needs of the position.
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, write reports, correspondence and procedures, speak clearly to colleagues and vendors.
• Basic math skills; ability to balance accounts, locate routine mathematical errors, and provide corrections.
• Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to work with general supervision while performing duties.
